Privacy Policy

This Policy is the official document of the L2Chronos web resource at https://l2chronos.com and defines the procedure for processing and protecting information about Users.

Relations connected with the collection, storage, distribution and protection of information about Site users are governed by this Policy, the Terms of Use, other official documents of the Site Administration, and the applicable law of the European Union.

By registering on the Site and using it, the User expresses their agreement with the terms set out in this Policy. If the User disagrees with this Policy, use of the Site and its services must be discontinued immediately.

The Site Administration does not verify the accuracy of the information received (collected) about Users, except in cases where such verification is necessary for the Site Administration to fulfil its obligations to the User.

The Site Administration does not require the provision of personal data, but where the User voluntarily provides it, the Administration may store only the personal data necessary to maintain contact with the User.

The Site Administration may use the User's personal information for the following purposes:

• Identifying a party within the framework of agreements and contracts with the Site Administration;
• Communicating with the user, including sending notifications, requests and information related to the use of the Site, as well as processing requests and applications from the User;
• Improving the quality of the Site's services, the convenience of the Site, and developing new Site features;
• Conducting statistical and other research based on anonymised data.

The Site Administration stores Users' personal information in accordance with its internal regulations.

The confidentiality of the User's personal information is maintained, except in cases where the user voluntarily provides information about themselves for unrestricted public access.

The Site Administration is entitled to transfer the User's personal information to third parties in the following cases:

• The User has given their consent to such actions;
• The transfer is necessary for the User's use of the Site;
• The transfer is required by Polish or other applicable law under a procedure established by law;
• Such transfer takes place as part of the sale or other transfer of the business (in whole or in part), in which case the acquirer assumes all obligations to comply with the terms of this Policy with respect to the personal information it receives;
• In order to protect the rights and legitimate interests of the Site Administration or third parties where the User violates the Terms of Use.

When processing Users' personal data, the Site Administration is guided by the European Union Law “On the Protection of Personal Data”.

The Policy takes effect from the moment it is published on the Site and remains in force indefinitely, until replaced by a new Policy.

The current version of the Policy is a public document.

The Site Administration is entitled to amend the Policy. When amendments are made, the Site Administration notifies users by publishing the new version on the Site at a permanent address.

If the User continues to use the Site after a new version of the Policy has been published, this is deemed to be the User's full acceptance of the terms of the Policy.

Users' personal data consists of the information provided by Users that is the minimum necessary for registration on the Site.
